RIP – Adult Legend Harry Reems

Adult Legend Harry Reems passed away yesterday at the age of 65. Harry has been in poor health for the past year or so and lost his battle with cancer. Our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.

To many, Reems is a household name, simply because of his participation in one single film, DEEPTHROAT, which is maybe the most popular of adult films. The film was the subject of major political turmoil throughout the 70’s and Reems, along with others were all arrested. But before Deepthroat, Harry was already a veteran of the NY sex scene. He started making loops with his peers like Jamie Gillis and Marc Stevens- and all three then went on to star in several Distribpix films of the late 60’s and early 70’s -Pre throat. Then came Deepthroat, and through it all, he remained a gentlemen. He continued to star in the industry in hundreds of titles and is easily one of the most popular actor/icon/adult stars.
