The legendary Annette Haven was primarily a West Coast actress, she reserved several of her finest performances for New York based productions. She took the titular role of Barbara Broadcast in Radley Metzger’s classic adult film( she also appeared in Metzger’s subsequent Maraschino Cherry). She also had a memorable role as Virginia Slims in the 1940’s segment of Armand Weston’s Take Off. Famed for her classic good looks, she was also an accomplished actress and was also known as a strongly principled person, turning down a mainstream role in The Howling, due to it’s excessive violence.
